How it works

Why llms.txt matters

AI assistants often guess which pages on your site matter. An llms.txt file is a curated markdown shortlist — title, summary, and sections with links — so tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity can find key content without scraping everything.

Google Search does not use llms.txt. Treat it as optional GEO guidance for AI products, not a ranking signal.

How to fix your file

  1. Publish the file at your site root as /llms.txt.
  2. Start with one H1, a blockquote summary, then H2 sections with - [Title](https://url): description list items.
  3. Re-run this checker after you deploy.
