Overview

Beamtrace tracks how AI assistants answer questions about your business. In Cursor, visibility, topic gaps, and competitor context surface in Agent and Chat while you work on the site — before the next pull request.

What you can do

These are the jobs the integration is built for.

  • Give Cursor Agent visibility context while it edits

Cursor Agent and Chat can read Beamtrace metrics as they refactor pages, metadata, or content components. Ask whether a change targets a losing prompt before the agent opens a pull request.

  • Investigate competitor gains from the agent panel

When a competitor moves ahead, ask Cursor who gained on which topics and what your site already covers. Use the readout to steer the agent toward comparison pages, FAQs, or schema fixes.

  • Plan the next content task in-repo

Before starting a multi-file content update, have Cursor list high-impact prompts and open improvements from Beamtrace. The agent can sequence edits with that backlog in mind.
