Explain visibility changes inside Augment Chat
Augment can summarize why your score moved, which prompts slipped, and where competitors gained — while you stay in the editor working on the site. Follow-up questions stay in the same assistant panel.
Flag prompts where you are losing ground
Ask Augment to watch for tracked prompts with declining mentions and suggest concrete file or copy changes. Useful when you want proactive nudges during regular development.
Focus the assistant on high-impact edits
Before accepting Augment suggestions, confirm they target prompts with real visibility upside. Beamtrace gives the assistant the ranking and competitor data to prioritize accordingly.
Set up
Connect Augment to the shared Beamtrace MCP endpoint, then authorize with your Beamtrace account when prompted.
- In the Augment panel, open Settings → MCP.
- Click + Add remote MCP, choose HTTP, name it Beamtrace, and paste the URL below.

Connected apps and their status are listed in Integrations in your dashboard, where you can disconnect access at any time.
Requirements
- A Beamtrace workspace with at least one tracked website.
- An Augment setup that allows custom MCP / connector tools.
